Should We Care? D.C. had its (zero delegate) Democratic primary yesterday. Should we give a crap? No. Howard Dean can spin this as a win. Al Sharpton will try to do the same. In the end, though, district residents elected Marion Barry repeatedly, so its not exactly a bellwether electorate. The numbers from the 2000 election help illustrate what kind of fantasy land exists inside the beltway. The media should give up the charade and simply admit that this is a non-story.
