Body Blow: Bush, already reeling from the criticism over the Nigerian uranium "plot", now faces a shot to the kidneys from the WTO. Oh, Old Europe is laughing now. It has $2.2 B in retaliatory duties at the ready. Protectionism is the worst kind of cronyism on the international scale. It's one thing to give your friends at Halliburton a few hundred million in no-bid work; it's another to push your inferior steel on the world to make good on stupid pledges when you're campaigning.
