Meanwhile, mull this over. Sounds like the Bush-Roh summit was blathersville, right? Now read this by David Frum. I think he's right, and as I've said before, the South has their head in the sand on the issue of a nuclear-capable North. I think we have to cut them loose, and perhaps this is the first step. If the South were squishy on the North and were willing to put 50,000 South Koreans on the DMZ so we didn't have to be there, I wouldn't have such a problem. But I don't think we owe it to the South to be more pro-South than Roh Moo-hyun.
