Oxygen Necessary For Human Life: Did we really need a survey to tell us this? Yes, clean drinking water is one of those things we sacrifice our money and liberty for and let the government provide. But "Clean and safe water is considered a right, not a privilege" is baloney. Clean water is a product or service we buy with our money (via taxes and the monthly water bill). But who cares, right? Nobody's against clean water. Maybe the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies is gearing up for some serious lobbying. "Clean water for the children will be next" as the justification for bigger budgets gets polished. Please, bartender, get me drink. And hold the water. (link via Taranto).
