Put Not Your Faith in Men: Particularly the Phoenix bishop who stepped down, finally. Covering up for pederasts didn't bring him down; no, the good people of Arizona had to wait for him to actually kill someone with his car:
Bishop O'Brien ... was returning home when he struck something on Glendale Avenue. He said he thought he had hit a dog or a cat, or someone had thrown a rock at his car ... [He had actually struck] Jim Reed, [who] was of Navajo descent and had been a member of Carpenters' Local 408 for 16 years. Rick Mills, a union official, described Mr. Reed as more than six feet tall and weighing more than 200 pounds.
You hit a rather large man hard enough to kill him, then tell the police you didn't stop because you thought it was a rock or a small animal? The hell with being a bishop, this guy can barely claim the mantle of "conscious." That is, if anyone believes he's not the kind of serially dishonest filth who covers up for pederasts.

By the way, did I mention that he covered up for pederasts?
