Chirac Attack: France is like (to be a bit sexist) the trophy wife who uses the status of her husband to get her way. France uses its (gifted) permanent seat on the Security Council in a similar way -as long as it has that attachment, it can be imperious in its comments. Problem is, the husband always finds someone younger and prettier as a replacement. Not saying there's any way to get France off the Security Council, but there certainly are ways to work around it, or ignore it all together, and then you're left with the sound of two baguettes crumbling.
