Hear no evil...: I think you covered the angle earlier of why it's healthy and necessary to feel pain. Apparently, this sentiment is not shared by radio program directors in Europe. MTV Europe is not showing any videos that have war footage or even show explosions, a la Billy Idol's "Hot in the City", which apparently has a nuclear mushroom cloud.
