Tennis Down Under: I didn't catch the women's match, but I watched a goodly part of Federer's dismantling of Safin. Everything he does is a joy to watch. Good volley skills, tremendous footwork, precision shot-placement - all done with a minimum of grunting and grimacing. Safin was really out-matched, and if Federer played like that with Roddick, so would he have been.
