The Bush strategy is working: So says the WSJ. Exactly the kind of success Bush had to be hoping for last year, but felt the argument was too nuanced to make the centerpiece of his policy. As with most things, the follow through will be the real test. Notice how it took many months of American sacrifice, in lives not just dollars, before real results began to emerge, in North Korea and Libya, now Iran and Pakistan. The Bush doctrine, however clumsily sold and administered, continues to reap benefits.
