Not likely, right? They'd be too hard to lay a first-world guilt trip on.

And Another Thing: Just curious, but I'm wondering why, when we're not involved in the Middle East peace process (regress?), the world screams that we're forsaking our leadership role. Once we're involved, though, the world screams that we must be an "honest broker" and "impartial." Excuse me? You all knew, going into this, that the U.S. and Israel are close allies, didn't you? If you didn't, just ask any of the millions of Palestinians who, according to the news, don't trust us to deal fairly, who think we're part of the Zionist conspiracy. If you want a broker who isn't too close to either party, save yourself the screaming at us and call up the tree-dwellers in Irian Jaya to come negotiate.
