Save us from ourselves: The French are once again outraged at something that is their own fault. Apparently, the deal the US and Brits made with Tripoli concerning the Lockerbie bombing is making the deal the French made with the Libyans concerning the bombing over Niger look like chump change. As a result, the French are reneging and refusing to lift UN sanctions until it gets a better deal. How much more incompetent can a country get? More to the point, this shows the fear Libya has of pissing of the French (who do nothing but complain) versus the Brits and the Yanks who bomb the f*ck out of you given even the slightest provocation - real or imagined.
