I mean, it's vitriolic and mostly illogical: But if you'll allow this Kerry supporter one last moment before he shuts up about the election, then this is pretty funny.
Fair rant, but it's rather odd to hear such bitterness over tax receipts/outlays from the party of "from each according to his ability to each according to his need." And while it's worth examining the diversity of red and blue states, I would ask that the writer first take full responibility for Washington D.C., a 90% supporter of Kerry that is nothing but an enormous leach on the federal government and wouldn't know from "values" if their crack-smoking mayor (now councilman Barry) laid them out on a plate (not, of course, that I'm taking the rap for Alabama). Meanwhile, one more f-bomb might have made me actually laugh.
You beat me to it, Flyer, but I had the same thought: this doesn't sound like a socialist. But, in the end, I'm just tired of it. As someone said recently, the liberals can't just lose, shut up, and go home. No, they have to twist and turn their way out of logic or common sense until losing is winning, losing is proof of their moral superiority. As for the dig about the "founding fathers" (parody alert: is that really a Democrat invoking such a term without pointing out what a bunch of sexists and bigots they were?), I think big ol' red Virginia was pretty nicely represented.
